EMMA PHILIPPOT

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Emma Philippot.
Emma was born in Ste. Anne, MB to George and Aurore Ricard. She married Joseph Philippot on May 2, 1934 where they farmed in Ste. Anne until 1949 when they moved to Saint-Boniface. Emma was extremely talented with her hands, an excellent seamstress, cook, embroiderer, you name it and she mastered it. Emma loved playing cards and spending time with family and friends.
Emma was predeceased by her husband, Joseph and son, Albert. She will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Hubert (Murielle), René (Dolores), daughter, Jeannette (Marcel) Lambert, daughter-in-law, Bernadette and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff on the fourth floor at Taché Centre for all the compassion and care during Emma?s stay.
Flowers are gratefully declined, if friends so desire, donations may be made in memory of Emma to Actionmarguerite Foundation, 185 Despins Street, Winnipeg, MB R2H 9Z9.
Funeral mass will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. in the St. Boniface Cathedral, 180 avenue de la Cathédrale.
Viewing will be held one half hour prior to the mass.
