Edward Pikl
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ed Pikl; loving son, husband, father, brother and grandfather on Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at the age of 57 years.
Ed is survived by his mother Dina, wife Diane, his children: Shane (Lindsay), Samantha (Tom), Matthew (Janele), Chantel, Robert and his best friends and granddaughters Ava and Sophia. He will also be sadly missed by his brother Emil (Pauline), sister Anna (Ken) as well as, many nieces and nephews.
Ed worked as a mechanic for Winnipeg Transit for 30 years and was also a carpenter on the side.
A funeral service celebrating Ed’s life will be held on Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. in Windsor Park United Church, 1062 Autumnwood Drive with viewing one hour prior.
In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations in memory of Ed may be made to Canadian Diabetes Association.
