Edward John Faraci was born on Friday the 13th, June 1943 to parents John and Helen Faraci. He was the oldest of three children, Dennis (Louise GN Jonasson) and Linda (Dennis Anderson). He is survived by his wife Thelma, and his children Greg, Robin, (Sanae Matsuzaki), Katherine (Bruce Winstone), Paige, Ian Wren (Kelly Wren). As well as his grand children Hana Matsuzaki-Faraci, Shore, Juniper, Tenzin Faraci-Winstone, Alana Wren, Christian Hayes, Nicholas Norminden, and Brayden McPherson.

Ed loved to laugh, tell stories, learn new things, spend time with family and friends, and was forever curious about almost everything. He was well travelled and always excited to learn bits of the languages, learn about the history and culture, but mostly he enjoyed getting to know the people and their culture. He had great energy, loved music, dancing, and most of all his family. He was sentimental, empathetic, and would often reach out to help someone in trouble. He will be greatly missed.
Due to the current Covid restrictions we have opted to hold a Celebration of Life in the summer in lieu of holding services.

A private family internment, by invite only, will be performed at St. Vital Cemetery (236 River Road) on December 31, 2021 at 2:00 p.m.
