It’s with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of David Boivin, also known as David Brown and David Mayo. David was a loving husband, brother, uncle and friend. He fought a hard battle with cancer and today he won; he’s finally free.

David was born to Linda Mayo and Dennis Boivin in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

He is survived by his wife, Sonyia Pearch-Mayo, his sister Karen (Scott), sister Robin (Jeff), nephew Corey (Carly), niece Jessie (Tyson) and great niece Sophia, along with many family members and friends.

David is pre-deceased by his mother Linda Mayo, his father Dennis Boivin, his Uncles Charlie and Rennie Adam and his grandparents.

We will all miss your sense of humour, tender heart, your loyalty to friends and love of family. Your loving nature was a gift to all of us.

David, you will always be in our thoughts and hearts, we love you and we miss you.

Celebration of Life will be held on April 29, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at the Coutu Funeral Home, located at 680 Archibald street in Winnipeg.

There will be a reception to follow directly next door following the service at the Fort Garry Curling Club from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., and there will be a cash bar.
