Obituary for Dana Michael John Pilot
DANA M. PILOT
March 15, 1961 ? October 13, 2012
Peacefully, after a lengthy illness Dana passed away on Saturday, October 13, 2012 at the Health Sciences Centre.
Dana will be lovingly remembered by his loving wife, Sherill, sons, Dillon and Mathew, father, Steve, mother-in-law, Nell of Brandon, his only brother, Greg (Christine) and nephew, Nicholas of Thunder Bay, niece, Dania (Joey) of Chicago, brother-in-law, Rick (Sheila), niece, Paula and nephew, Adam of Brandon. Dana was predeceased by his mother, Ilona and father-in-law, Stan.
Dana was born in Kirkland Lake, Ontario and raised and educated in Winnipeg. He had a very successful career for over 21 years as a financial planner with CIBC and most recently retired with RBC Financial. Dana enjoyed golfing, camping, spending time with family and friends and a good card game. He also worked tirelessly for the Kinsmen Club of Kenora.
The family wishes to thank the medical team of doctors, nurses and orderlies at the Health Sciences Centre, floor GD4 for their compassion and care that was shown to Dana and his family.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Dana to the Health Sciences Centre Foundation MS107, 820 Sherbrook St., Wpg., MB R3A 9Z9.
In keeping with Dana?s wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life will be held on Friday, October 19, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. in the Coutu Funeral Chapel, 680 Archibald Street.
