Obituary for Craig Gosselin

CRAIG ?GOOSE? GOSSELIN

It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of our dear husband, brother, father, grandfather and friend on November 22, 2012 at the age of 63.

Craig will be sadly missed by his wife Margaret Ann, sister Marlene (Curt), children Shannon (Andrew) and Kevin (Dallas) and grandchildren Emma, Sami and Katie. He was predeceased by his parents John and Dallas and sister Connie.

Craig grew up in Norwood and no matter where he travelled it was always near and dear to his heart. Some of his greatest memories were spending time with friends and family at the Red Top and ?The Wood?. Being in the sales industry, ?Goose? cherished all his business relationships. He was so charismatic that his customers and competitors all became many of his life-long friends. ?Goose? was well respected in his industry and one of his greatest assets was his humour.

Coaching and attending his children?s sporting events was something he also enjoyed and later on in life, he got to continue that same fulfilment by attending his granddaughters? activities. ?Goose? loved to give back to the community and one of his favourite charities was Winnipeg Harvest. His favourite hobby was golfing and he had many good times with his golf buddies at St. Boniface Golf Course. In recent years, he loved spending time with friends and family out at the cottage. The family would like to extend a special thank-you to the Emergency team at Victoria Hospital.

In keeping with Craig?s wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial mass celebrating his life will be held on Thursday, November 29 at 1:00 p.m. in the Holy Cross Catholic Church, 252 Dubuc Street.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation, 6 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6 or Winnipeg Harvest, 1085 Winnipeg Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3E 0S2
