Constance (Connie) Helene Wong
July 28, 1954 - May 17, 2023
It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Connie Wong, in Winnipeg Manitoba on May 17, 2023 at the age of 68 years after fighting a long and fierce battle with Cancer.
She will be lovingly remembered and missed by her former spouse Bing; children: Stephanie (Ben) and Jordan (Sharon); grandchildren: Elliott, Wyatt and her fur grandbabies Tiara, Mack and Theo; sister, Camila (Melvin) Rawluk; niece, Janet; Nephew, Wayne; great-nieces: Kaitlin, Natasha, and Alicia; as well as numerous relatives and friends who she considered family.
Connie wore many hats in her lifetime, the most important to her was being a mom. Next was her work, where she had many successful positions through her time. She started in commercial real estate, then transitioned into commercial sales, and then later on down the road and a move to Calgary brought her into property management where she loved her job almost as much as she loved to let loose and sing and dance to her favourite rock band AC/DC.
Connie loved to love, she loved her grandchildren, her friends, all dogs/animals, nature and being outdoors. Connie went through a lot in her life and persevered through it all with a smile on her face. She had such an infectious laugh and an all-around genuinely beautiful soul. Everywhere Connie went she would make friends which really says a lot about a person. She was loved by many and will be truly missed.
A Celebration of Life will be held at E.J. Coutu Funeral Home, 680 Archibald Street, Winnipeg MB, R2J 0Y4 on Saturday, September 23, 2023 at 11:00 a.m..
Memorial Donations may be made in Connie Wong’s name to either the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
Our family wishes to send a special thank you to the staff at the Grace Hospice for their care and compassion. The staff there are truly amazing and made Connie feel so loved. We have a never ending appreciation for all the staff and all they do there for their patients.
