CHRISTIANE MIREILLE ALBEROLA

May 20, 1938 ? June 21, 2013
With great sadness, our beloved wife, mother and mimi, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 21, 2013.
She leaves to mourn, her husband of 57 years, Roland, her four sons, Dominique (Kathleen), Serge (Stephanie), Yves, Alex (Alicia), beloved grandchildren, Christophe, Mathew (Amber), Aaron, Adrien, Tanesha, Tamara, Kassondra, Stephane and Anthony, as well as, John, Jeremie, Sarah, Emilie, Katelyn and Colin. She will also be lovingly remembered by her surviving family back in Europe, friends and the many people that she had touched throughout her life.
We would like to extend our appreciation and gratitude to Dr. Maxwell and the Oncology staff at the Victoria Hospital CancerCare. A special thanks to Germaine and the Palliative Care Unit at St. Boniface Hospital for their care and compassion.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service celebrating Christiane?s life will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. in the Coutu Funeral Chapel, 680 Archibald Street. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Christiane may be made to CancerCare Manitoba Foundation.
?You can only have one mother, patient, kind and true; no other friend in all the world, will be the same to you. When other friends forsake you, to mother you will return, for all her loving kindness she asks nothing in return. As we look upon her picture sweet memories we recall, of a face so full of sunshine and a smile for one and all.?
