Obituary for Patsy Saunders
PATSY SAUNDERS
It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Patsy Saunders on Thursday, October 8, 2020 at the age of 62.
Patsy will be truly missed. Her spunky attitude and sarcastic sense of humor brought happiness and laughter to everyone who knew her. She always had a smile on her face. Her unfailingly optimistic demeanor and positive attitude made her a joy to be around. She brought out the best in people with her patience and kindness and everyone who knew her became a better person for it.
Patsy was a social butterfly, especially at work where she had many friends and many boyfriends. Patsy enjoyed many activities, she loved to bowl every Saturday and she loved going to events just so she could dance. You would have to pull her off the dance floor when it was time to leave.
Paul and Kevin could do no wrong in Patsy’s eyes. She would always stick up for them, even if it meant going against Joanne. She loved her TV shows and movies. Particularly Dirty Dancing which she would watch repeatedly, and she LOVED Rocky Balboa! If you asked Pat who would win in a fight between Rocky and Paul, she would take her time and eventually say “Paul” but she would change her answer once Paul left the room.
Patsy, we will miss hearing you sing along to your favourite musicals, we will miss your laughter and your smile. Heaven got a little bit sassier when you arrived; we hope you are up there bugging Denis! We love you, rest in peace.
She will be forever loved and missed by her family; Joanne Bedard, Kevin & Heather Bedard, Paul & Trisha Bedard and Cheyanne English, Linda & Brian Langevin, Gerald Saunders.
The family would like to extend sincere gratitude to all the staff at Fred Douglas Lodge.
Cremation has taken place and a private ceremony will take place at a later date.
