Obituary for Carole Ayotte

CAROLE AYOTTE

It’s with regret we announce the passing of our dear sister Carole on September 29, 2021. Carole was pre-deceased by our Dad, Edmond Ayotte October 1956, and our Mom, Fleurette Ayotte (Desilets) October 1995.

Carole married Steve Roberson in 1968. Together they had a son Quentin, December 1969. Quentin, (Las Vegas) has two sons, Ravel Roberson, Calgary Alberta and Javone Roberson, Winnipeg Manitoba.

Carole will be fondly remembered by her four brothers and one sister; Raymond (Carmel), Denis, Lynn (Joe), Marcel (Jan), Ricky (Sue), two aunts, Pauline Chabot (Desilets), Winnipeg MB and Stella Borrie (Desilets) Toronto ON, numerous nieces and nephews, countless cousins, more cousins.

Carole was born December 30, 1945 and entered her eternal rest September 29, 2021. Carole attended Ecole Precieux Sang and Academie St Joseph where she graduated from high school. She then went on to graduate from University of Winnipeg with her degree in Operating Room Technician. Worked at Seven Oaks Hospital and Health Science Centre. Carole worked many years all over the United States and made her home there.

Carole was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 1976 which is a very debilitating disease to say the least. But Carole rarely complained. She embraced life to the fullest. She kept in touch with her many friends all over the globe. She enjoyed playing scrabble and card games with her friends. Growing up on a farm, our parents played cards, naturally we learnt. Later on in life Carole and I would play canasta with Mom till all hours of the night. Later she learnt how to play on line with friends. Then there was always jigsaw puzzles, countless hours of puzzles, for many years.

Carole also loved dancing and this is where she met the love of her life. Ron Anderson swept her off her feet in more ways than one. They met in the early nineteen nineties. Ron and Carole were inseparable. Ron could do no wrong, he had truly captured her heart. Ron and Carole were married in June 2000. They enjoyed travelling together, hiking and of course dancing. They enjoyed many car rides in the Carolinas as well as all over the United States. Carole was strong willed and determined to make the best of her condition. Carole was a trooper. Carole could not have done this without Ron, her constant companion was always by her side. Ron cared and loved Carole till the very end. Carole was confined to the house with that dreaded disease, pretty much in 2019. Then to a wheelchair. Ron cared for her every need. Carole had a stroke and was bedridden the last three months, before she entered her Eternal rest. Ron held her hand as she took her last breath and kissed her goodbye. Carole, you rest now, your work here is done, we’ll see you later. Miss you💕
