It is with great sadness our family announces the passing of our dear mother, Nell (Aniela) Stanson (nee Gladish) peacefully at home, surrounded by her family, on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at the age of 95.

She is survived by her daughter Diane Pyndykowski, sons James (Michelle), Robert (Michelle), sister Victoria Gladish, sister-in-law Mary (Louis) Gladish, grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Stanley, parents, Paul and Mary Gladish, sisters Willa, Rose, Julie, Jessie, Jeana, brothers Eddy, Louis, Johnny, daughter-in-law Maria Stanson and son-in-law Michael Pyndykowski.

Nell was born, raised and lived her entire life in St. Boniface, attending King George V and Queen Elizabeth Schools. She was active in St. Andrew Bobola Parish and was president of the Catholic Women’s League. She also worked outside the home with several employers and retired with the T. Eaton Company after 20 years of service.
Mom loved cooking, gardening, knitting, going on gambling junkets with her sister Vickie and bargain hunting with her brother Louis.

Our family would like to extend our deepest gratitude to our cousin (Nell’s goddaughter) Virginia Palmer for her loving care, compassion and support during our mother’s final days.

Due to Covid restrictions, a private family Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, June 19, 2021 at St. Andrew Bobola Parish, followed by interment at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. Father Walery Bykowski and Mgsr. Comeault officiating.
