With love in her heart, Abby Lee Baptiste passed away on May 9, 2019, at the St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 31. Abby was loved by her Mom and Dad, Joy and Hans Janssen and her entire extended family. Her strength and gentle nature will live on in our memories and she will be cherished by all those lucky enough to have known her.
Ms. Abby, with your legs crossed and hands grasped, you captured our hearts. Your infectious laugh and often appropriate responses are etched in our memories. You loved the outdoors, and never complained when a bird or squirrel zipped past you. If the sun was shining and the wind was in your face, all the better. Road trips were a pleasure and you often kept us engaged the whole trip. Your lap was always open for any young child to climb up onto. And who could forget the late-night chats at the lake.
We will miss you Abs,
you have your wings now.
