ROLAND COURCHAINE

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Roland Courchaine on January 30, 2020.

Roland was born April 26, 1953 in Winnipeg, MB and peacefully passed away in his home at the young age of 66.

Roland leaves to mourn his wife of 45 years Beverley (Bev), two children Logan and Chantal, and three grandchildren Kendal, Gavin, and Mason.  Roland also leaves three brothers, Louis (Jill), Roger, (Wendy), and Crocket (Bev), one sister Dolores, and numerous nieces and nephews.  Roland was pre deceased by his parents, three brothers, and five sisters.

Roland enjoyed spending time socializing with friends and family and brought joy and laughter everywhere he went.  He was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing crib and cards with friends and family.  He will be remembered by many for his love of family and his willingness to help anyone in need.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba.

Cremation has already taken place and a celebration of life is being held Wednesday, February 5, 2020 at the Glenwood Community Centre, 27 Overton St Winnipeg MB from 1:30-4:30 p.m.

    Condolences to the family Rolly was one of those people that made me smile when I would run into him. Growing up in the same neighborhood and similar interests we would cross paths over the years and it was always would always be fun. Gone to early.

    I am so sorry to hear of Rollie’s passing. I’ve known him for years. He was a good friend and fun to be with. I will miss him. My sincere condolences to his family.

    So sorry and sad to learn of Roland’s sudden passing. May it be of comfort to all of you as a family, to know that Roland has met the face of God and is now in his loving care. Many fun and precious memories of us all taking Sunday School together – years ago. Darlene Hoffman
