Helping Families and Friends Honor Their Loved One

HARVEY BOURGEOIS

It is with great sadness the family announces that Harvey Bourgeois passed away on Friday, April 5, 2019, at St. Boniface Hospital in Winnipeg, MB. after complications with pneumonia.

Dad was predeceased by his parents, Amedee and Celine Bourgeois, and sister, Giselle Bourgeois.

Harvey is survived by: son Derek (Zara) Bourgeois, and grandchildren: Finn, Piper, Erik, Zachary and Scarlett.  Son Kevyn (Teri) Bourgeois and grandchildren: Madden and Sawyer; Sister Doris and brothers Rene and Noel.

Harvey served his country for 32 years with the RCMP from the East coast to the Prairies.  He served in Organized crime, Commercial crime and Training Branch.  He was most proud of his time in uniform in Moncton, Swan River and Lundar where he impacted hundreds of lives and made lifelong friendships.

He was a long serving member of the Lion’s Club of Swan River and instrumental in many benevolent acts.

In keeping with Harvey’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service celebrating his life will be held on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at 11:00 a.m.  at the Coutu Funeral Home, 680 Archibald Street, Winnipeg, MB.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Harvey would be graciously received at the FAV Foundation to help the fight against Fanconi Anemia, a condition Harvey’s grandson Madden faces.
