Florence Jean Bosko
(July 23, 1934 — December 22, 2018)
It is with sadness the family announces the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, sister-in-law, and friend at the age of 84 years. Cherishing her memory are her daughters Gail Perich and Darlene Klause (James); grandchildren and great grandchildren, Darryl (Jen/Brianna) Klause, Justin (Brody) Klause, Wesley (Rae-Lynn/Theodore) Perich, and Kristen Perich; many nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends. She was predeceased by husband Tony of 52 years (2007), her parents Peter and Katie, sisters Mary, Frances, Pearl and brother Edward, several brothers-in-law and sister-in-law; and special friend Louis Fontaine.
Mom and dad married in September of 1954. He was the love of her life. They both shared the love of their family, religion and of course travelling. After dads passing and several years later the loss of her driver’s license was very hard on mom. She was very lucky in having many friends and social activities to keep her busy as she was one to never sit still. She also loved to cook, bake, attend her “soup and sandwich”, as well as senior dances, bingo, and any car travel.
We would like to thank all the family and friends who visited with mom the last couple of months.
The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the Transcona United Church, 209 Yale Avenue, West. Interment will follow at the Transcona cemetery.
