She was predeceased by her husband of 51 years, J. Alphée, her siblings and their spouses, Adrien (Irene), Philip (Jean), Frank (Mireille), Paul (Claire), Alice (Don Asselin), her in-laws, Emilien, O.M.l., Noëlia, F.D.L.C., Télesphore (Ida), Thomas Cadieux, Edphat, niece Johanne Desmarais, nephews Gérard Dorge, William (Bill) Bourrier and nephew-in-law Rickey Keep.
Family was everything to Mom. With her remarkable memory, she was the genealogist of her family and Dad’s. Her generosity and thoughtfulness will be long remembered along with her great faith and integrity. She was a partner on the family farm for eleven years, a wonderful homemaker and worked part-time for many years outside the home.
We extend our thanks to friends and family who visited, staff and residents of Catherine Place, Mom’s home for the last seven years, Dr. A. S. Abdulrehman, staff of St. Boniface Hospital Palliative Care and Grace Hospice for making her last months as comfortable as possible. Flowers are gratefully declined. Donations to Winnipeg Harvest or Siloam Mission would be appreciated. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 28, at St. Emile Roman Catholic Church, 556 St. Anne’s Road.
