Albert is survived by his sister Eunice, brothers Armand, Leo, Joe, sister in-law Roberta (Andy) and their families, his L’Arche Family (L’Arche Winnipeg) and many friends at WASO and L’Arche Tova Café.

Albert was a loving, generous and forgiving soul. He was dearly loved by everyone who knew him. He touched many people’s lives.

The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at the Concordia Hospital. His sister expresses a special “thank you” to Dr. Bzura for his compassion in supporting Albert’s family.

I was shocked and saddened to learn of Albert’s sudden death and at the same time grateful I’d had the opportunity to visit L’Arche Winnipeg in July and catch up with him. I met Albert when he arrived at the L’Arche Farm in Lorette in 1975 and have a lovely photo of us dancing together when I happened to visit at the time of the 20th anniversary of the community. He was a man who took his place in the world with confidence and grace and was a true friend to those with whom he shared his life. With gratitude for a life well-lived and praying for his family and friends today from faraway Canberra, Australia.
