Mom’s long life was punctuated by many challenges which she overcame while effectively minimizing their effects on our family. She lost two children, Suzanne and Peter, at very young ages. Mom always made the best of whatever situation she found herself in. When, after many years as a stay-at-home mom, circumstances required her entering the workforce, she quickly transitioned from a nervous new worker to an indispensable employee.
